We were honored to welcome Maranda Kan as our Keynote Speaker. An ASU alumna, Kan currently serves as the Director of the Supply Chain Resilience Center in the Trade & Economic Security Office of Strategy, Policy, and Plans at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Her journey to this pivotal role was ignited by a profound moment during her college years—an inspiring call to service after learning of the tragic event of 9/11. Kan’s commitment to homeland security and resilience is both admirable and inspiring, and we were privileged to have her share her insights and experiences with us.
We also extend our sincerest gratitude to all who participated and contributed to making this event a truly engaging and insightful experience. Your presence and input were invaluable in shaping the success of the CAOE Annual Meeting.
A special thank you to our esteemed researchers, stakeholders, members of the CAOE Board of Directors and representatives from DHS , including Hilary Shackelford, CAOE’s program manager. Our event’s success is also thanks to the team at ASU’s DC office; we couldn’t have done it without them.
One of the highlights of the event was taking a break to view the eclipse on April 8th, adding a memorable moment to our gathering.
Thank you all again for your valuable contributions. Your support and involvement made this event possible. We look forward to continuing our journey of collaboration and innovation with you.
